Dr. Ginny Richerson is a full professor and the Chair of the Department of Adolescent, Career, and Special Education (2005). She is also the Secondary Education Program Coordinator and advisor to numerous student organizations (Panhellenic, Order of Omega, Gamma Sigma Alpha, Pi Omega Pi, and others).
Dr. Richerson earned her BS in Business Education (1974), MS in Business Education, (1980), and Ph.D. (1985) from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Prior to becoming a member of the College of Education (2000), Dr. Richerson was a member of the Department of Marketing, Management, and Business Administration in the College of Business and Public Affairs (1985-2000)
Currently, Dr. Richerson is teaching Practicum in the Secondary Schools.
