This diversity forms the basis of EDU 664, Techniques of Teaching Environmental Education, which provides opportunities for the development of teaching attitudes and understanding of the basic natural resources of the school environment. Through introduction to, and the use of national EE curricula, concept mapping, environmental interpretation, and peer teaching, students are offered a greater instructional skill set for use in environmental education lessons in their classrooms.
