Welcome to the School Administration Homepage for Murray State University. Accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, the School Administration Program offers five Kentucky licensure programs and two graduate degree programs in k-12 school administration. As required by the State of Kentucky, all courses within the administrative licensure programs are designed around the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium Standards, which are composed of six standards and 144 knowledge, disposition and performance indicators. Course work is based on problem identification and solution, case studies, scenarios, role playing, action research in the work setting and numerous experiences in the community and public schools. We are excited about our program at Murray State University and strive to maintain high program quality through rigorous quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The School Administration Continuous Assessment data is a summary of the program input and output measures used to gauge our success and failure as a program. Data for the continuous assessment is distilled from a broad range of sources including student assessment results and practitioner focus groups. Our Continuous Assessment is available for your review. |
